Coronary Artery Disease
Coronary artery disease is a narrowing or blockage of blood vessels that supply blood flow to the heart. Is the most common form of heart disease and a leading cause of death. This can cause fatigue, chest pain and/or shortness of breath, but sometimes has no symptoms.

Surgery typically takes around 4-5 hours.
How long will I be in the hospital?
Hospital course after uncomplicated surgery is usually 4-5 days.
Will I need to follow up?
You will follow up with us after surgery either in our office or via video teleconference 1-2 weeks after leaving the hospital. You will also need follow up with your cardiologist or PCP long term.
Will I need to take any new medications?
You may have some new medications following surgery. You will be provided a list of medications at time of discharge from the hospital and these will be reviewed with you before you leave.
